The Truth About Cancer Founder Interviews Dr. Thomas Lodi At The LifeCo Clinic

The Truth About Cancer founder Ty Bollinger was recently a guest at The LifeCo Clinic and interviewed integrative oncology expert Dr. Thomas Lodi in Phuket, Thailand.

During the interview, Bollinger asked about Dr. Lodi’s unique botanical therapies that are potentiated with insulin.

According to Dr. Lodi, they use insulin with most of their therapies at The LifeCo Clinic. “We may use it with vitamin C, but we definitely use it with our botanicals therapies which are insulin potentiated curcumin therapy and insulin potentiated quercetin therapy,” he said. “We then mix them all together and call it insulin potentiated botanical therapy.”

Curcumin is the key active ingredient in the spice turmeric. It has many noted health benefits including antioxidant and anti-inflammatory properties.

Quercetin is a pigment found in plants, fruits, and vegetables. Research shows that it also has antioxidant, anti-inflammation and antihistamine properties. It can also help prevent neurological diseases and infections and lower the risk of heart diseases.

But why is insulin important?

Dr. Lodi explained “When a certain number of mitochondria become damaged, the cells can no longer use energy as part of a normal mechanism which is combining glucose and oxygen. Now, it ferments which is a very inefficient way of making energy, in fact, it is 19 times less efficient.”

He added that, for new chronically fermenting cells to keep up with energy demand, it needs 19 times more fuel, which is glucose, and this is the exact reason PET (positron emission tomography) scans are conducted.

In the interview, Dr. Lodi also addresses conventional medical wisdom that a cancer patient’s sugar consumption is irrelevant. On the contrary, he noted that PET scans look for organs or cells picking up sugar at a rapid rate and these areas are those affected by cancer.

Ty Bollinger Asks Dr. Lodi About How His Botanical Therapies Are Used At The LifeCo Clinic

“This new metabolic demand called ‘fermentation’ turns on oncogenes, they are upregulated to support fermentation,” he furthered. “We use this knowledge at The LifeCo Clinic into fooling the cancer cells to eat something that is going to kill them through our IPT therapy. It’s exactly a trojan horse.

These therapies are targeted with metabolic therapies. We administer intravenous vitamin C, intravenous curcumin, intravenous Boswellia, intravenous quercetin which are all botanical therapies and important for reducing inflammation.”

IPT or insulin potentiation therapy is a “kinder, gentler cancer chemotherapy treatment option” that has fewer side effects. It is also sometimes called IPT low dose chemotherapy. With IPT, the patient is administered with small amounts of insulin to “select the cancer cells” because they bind to insulin much quicker.

The cells become more permeable and this is when small amounts of therapeutic substances are further administered. Because of the low dosing, side effects are minimized, and the frequency of treatments can be increased to give cancer cells less time to become resistant to the drugs.

A key benefit of IPT is that the immune system is relatively spared from damage so the body can defend itself from cancer and other intrusions such as chemical and internally derived poisons.
